When the USS Ingraham FFG-61 planned on coming to Portand, OR in celebration of the Portand Rose Festival, they called on Vision-Strike-Wear.com to donate a design for their FCPOA and MWR fund raising activities. Their FCPOA President, BM1 (SW) Michael Zgoda requested a design be donated, Vision-Strike-Wear.Com responded. For us providing razor sharp designs for the fleet and helping to raise much needed funds for MWR is just one of the things we do at Vision-Strike-Wear.Com. Giving back to the fleet is all about that and more.
When asked about the specifics of a design Vision-Strike-Wear.com responded with a design from their library of black and white Skull and cross bones which reflected a cutting edge look coupled with the ship's name in a nice cursive font. Printed on Navy blue short sleeve shirts they became the center point of shirts at this year's 2012 Portland Rose Festival and home to Vision-Strike-Wear.Com. It is great having the USS Ingraham in port and nothing gives us more pleasure to see a wonderful design that is helping the crew and FCPOA raise much needed funds.
